Team Award Faculty of Science

Do you have a team within the Faculty of Science (FNWI) that has made an outstanding achievement in the fields of research, education, outreach, or organisation? If so, nominate this team for the annual Faculty of Science Team Award!

The Faculty of Science Team Award was established to recognise teams that have collectively made an exceptional contribution. With this award, we highlight the importance of collaboration and the strength of diverse talents within teams. The prize will be presented during the faculty's New Year’s Breakfast. Nominations can be submitted until 26 October.

Criteria and procedures

Nominate a team for the Faculty of Science Team Award

Instructions

It is important to showcase the people and their collaboration behind the achievements. For each criterion, explain what makes your team unique, what you are most proud of, and why your team stands out. Focus on the key messages and use clear, accessible language so that reviewers from different backgrounds can fully appreciate your team's contribution.

* Mandatory field
Name, role and affiliation.
Please describe what the team has accomplished together (in research, teaching, outreach, and/or organisation). Explain how the result is a shared team achievement rather than individual work.
Please describe how the team brings together different skills, backgrounds, and perspectives (for example gender, nationality, discipline, or role in the organisation). If relevant, mention collaboration across different units or institutes.
Please describe how the team members have worked together, supported each other, and combined their strengths. Explain how collaboration added value and led to results that individuals could not have achieved alone.
Please explain why the team’s work matters - either for advancing knowledge or for contributing to society.
Please describe what was complex or challenging about the work, and how the team’s creativity and joint problem-solving made the achievement possible.
