Western University and Radboud University

Since mid-2021, Radboud University and Western University in London, Ontario, Canada have been 'priority partners'. This collaboration is supported by, among other things, the Radboud-Western Collaboration Fund, which funds joint research and educational projects.

Western University is known as one of the most renowned universities in Canada, with leading research at such institutions as the Schuling School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western's Ivey Business School, and Western Center for Brain and Mind Western University falls among the top 1 percent best universities in the world.

Exchange Program

Providing opportunities for students and staff to gain international experience and creating an international campus are important pillars of their internationalization strategy for both partners. For example, a university-wide exchange program has existed for some time, which gives students from Western and Radboud University the opportunity to study at the other institution for one or more semesters. In addition, employees of Radboud University can go to Western with an Erasmus+ scholarship to do a period of training, research, or teaching.

Radboud-Western Collaboration Fund

The Radboud-Western Collaboration Fund encourages joint research and education projects between these two institutions. Annually, project leaders from Radboud University and Western University can jointly apply for a maximum funding of $25,000 (CAD) per project.
