The Radboud Student Award is an award given annually to students who have contributed to the academic community in a special way. This year, the award goes to Maarten Manten of the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
Last academic year, Maarten was responsible for developing the elective course "Planetary Health" for the medical curriculum. This will be available students of both Medicine, Biomedical Sciences and Dentistry from the academic year 2022-2023. He does this through his position as a student member within the Radboud GreenTeam Education, which consists of a number of healthcare and climate professionals and experts from Radboudumc and Radboud University.
