Delivery of goods

To ensure the smooth delivery of goods, we ask suppliers to follow the guidelines below.

Delivery point

The delivery point does not have a loading or unloading dock. Please ensure you have a tail lift and bring a pallet truck.

Inspection upon delivery

Upon delivery, we inspect the number of parcels and pallets and check for visible damage. The supplier is responsible for missing items or damage that is not externally visible.

Delivery address

Radboud University uses multiple delivery addresses. The Logistics departments ensure that goods reach the requester. This applies to all Radboud University locations. The correct delivery address can be found on the purchase order.

Please note: to ensure optimal goods receipt and distribution within Radboud University, the purchase order number must be stated on the packing slip. If this is not known, please provide the name of the recipient, room number and telephone number where applicable.

Parcels

  • Deliver one separate parcel per order.
  • A parcel may only contain one purchase order.
  • Parcels without a pallet must not exceed 2 metres in height and preferably not weigh more than 22 kg.

Packing slip

  • Attach the packing slip to the outside of the parcel.
  • When delivering multiple parcels: attach a copy of the packing slip to each additional parcel, marked 'copy'. This ensures a packing slip is always available if a parcel goes missing.
  • When delivering multiple parcels: indicate the parcel number and total number of parcels, for example "1 of 3" or "2 of 4".
  • Ensure the purchase order number is clearly visible on the outside of the parcel (for example in bold, large print or in colour on the packing slip).

Pallets

  • Use euro pallets only (120 cm x 80 cm x 20 cm).
  • Ensure the load does not extend beyond the edges of the pallet.
  • Maximum height (including pallet): 2 metres.
  • Pallets exceeding 150 cm in height when loaded must be sealed.
  • Damaged pallets will not be accepted and must be taken back by the carrier.
  • Maximum load: 500 kg per pallet.
