Our research group explores cognitive processes and their links to psychopathology. We aim to enhance understanding, predict treatment outcomes, and prevent psychological dysfunctions in at-risk individuals. We investigate various disorders and phenomena, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and repetitive negative thinking.
Cognitive Processes Psychopathology & Treatment
Research
Our studies use various methods and research techniques, including reaction time paradigms, behavioural tasks, questionnaires, eye-tracking, fMRI, and EEG. Moreover, our studies use TMS/tDCS, neurofeedback, hormone administration, and physiology (e.g., heart rate variability and skin conductance). These methods are used to conduct experimental studies, randomised controlled trials of treatments in clinical settings, and tests in immersive virtual environments.
