Educational institute

The Education Institute for Inter- and Transdisciplinary Education (ITE) is one of the five education institutes within the Faculty of Science at Radboud University. The institute's board is responsible for the content and quality of the Master's specialisations Science in Society and Science, Management and Innovation, as well as the Two-year Educational Master's in Science Education. In addition, the institute serves as the coordinating faculty for the Master's programme in Science for Sustainability, which is offered in collaboration with the Nijmegen School of Management.

ISiS hosts National Interdisciplinary Education conference

The National Interdisciplinary Education conference of 2026 will take place on 29 October and will be hosted at the Radboud campus by the Institute for Science in Society and the Institute for Inter- and Transdisciplinary Education.

Accreditation for two new programmes

We are proud to announce that our faculty will be offering interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary education in two new programmes: the Master's programme in Science for Sustainability and the Bachelor's programme in Human Neurosciences.

Participation and quality assurance

Programme Committee (OLC)

The Programme Committee advises on the quality and design of education and represents the interests of students and teaching staff within the programmes of the Institute for Inter- and Transdisciplinary Education. Examination Board

The Examination Board monitors the quality of assessment and examinations and makes decisions regarding, among other things, exemptions, student requests, and safeguarding the final qualifications of the programmes.
