Domain Operations

What do we do? 

Our core tasks include: 

• Identifying needs: Mapping out requirements and challenges in operational domains such as HR, Finance, and Facility Services.
• Advising on digital solutions: Translating those needs into appropriate digital support while aligning with existing systems and strategic goals.
• Guiding implementations: Supporting the implementation of new or updated systems and processes across operational services.
• Ensuring coherence: Monitoring integration and alignment between people, processes, and technologies across the operations domain.

How do we work? 

We work strategically, collaboratively, and demand-driven. Case prioritization follows the SIP for Business Operations. Each IM manager in this domain works closely with stakeholders such as HR, Finance & Control, Campus & Facility, Marketing & Communication, the Executive Office, and ILS. We coordinate with functional management, IT, architecture, privacy, and security. We guide the full trajectory: from the first question to implementation and embedding. We focus on: 

• Process governance across domains.
• Modular applications with standards, cloud-readiness, and reusability.
• Digital sustainability through efficiency, footprint reduction, and smart data use.
