The disABILITY and Accessibility Committee (DAC) considers ‘disability’ from a Disability Studies perspective. This means that - just as with gender, ethnicity, age, socioeconomic status, LGBTQI+ - it shouldn’t matter who you are or what you “have”, but whether or not your surroundings are organized in such a way that you can participate fully in life.
The Committee's main goal is to participate in and think about how to facilitate physical, social, digital, professional and educational accessibility within the Radboud University. DAC wants to make Radboud University more inclusive, diverse and especially equitable for employees, students and others with a disability. At the same time, DAC also wants to draw attention to everybody’s talents and possibilities.
