The Department for Textual, Historical, and Systematic Studies of Judaism and Christianity brings together biblical scholars, historians of Christianity, and systematic theologians together for teaching and research. The department's research is reflected in the work of the Center for Textual, Historical, and Systematic Studies of Judaism and Christianity.
The department teaches two of the world’s major religious traditions, Judaism and Christianity, and helps our students critically engage with and understand an increasingly complex world by bringing current ideas, values, practices and sources of authority into conversation with historically, ecclesiastically, and culturally diverse traditions.
Chair of the Department for Textual, Historical, and Systematic Studies of Judaism and Christianity is prof. dr. Carly Crouch.
