This year, the event will take place on Saturday 21 March at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience in Amsterdam. Secondary school pupils from all over the Netherlands are welcome to put their knowledge of neuroscience to the test. After several rounds of quizzes, the winner of the Dutch Brain Olympics 2026 will be announced!
Around lunchtime, there will be a large brain expo where students can participate in interesting activities, such as VR sessions, lectures, and workshops.
Like previous editions, the Dutch Brain Olympics 2026 will be held during the annual Brain Awareness Week (BAW), which runs from 16 to 22 March.
