On Friday, 20 February, the Precognition team will present a documentary by Tim Wiesner and Dr. Charlotte Fraza, with Prof. Andre Marquand and Dr. Barbora Rehák Bučková, exploring the tension between lived experience of psychosis and data-driven research.
Synopsis
This documentary, produced by André Marquand’s research group at the Donders Institute as part of the PRECOGNITION project, follows David, a father, caregiver, and lived-experience expert, as he collaborates with researchers in Nijmegen, London and Oslo. Together, they explore the promise of data-driven science while confronting the everyday realities faced by patients and their families.
The screening will be followed by a short discussion with the researchers and filmmakers. We kindly invite everyone that is curious about what happens when science meets lived experience to join us for the live premier of this documentary.
