Threat reactions and decision making

We are excited to announce a small symposium on the topic of Threat reactions and decision making. The symposium will feature a fantastic line-up including the following speakers:

  • Marloes Henckens (Donders Institute, Radboudumc) - Neural correlates of trauma susceptibility in mice
  • Dean Mobbs (Caltech, California Institute of Technology) - Naturalistic approaches to survival decision making
  • Dominik Bach (University of Bonn) - Critical intelligence: Understanding human escape with virtual reality

This symposium is held as part of the PhD defense of Felix Klaassen. On June 5th, at 12.30 precisely, he will defend his thesis entitled: At the heart of the decision: On the role of defensive freezing states in approach-avoidance decision-making under threat.
