At the Weekend of Science, hundreds of people, from curious children to grandparents, will come to campus asking questions and exploring. This is your chance to help them see science the way you do. But how do you turn a scientific concept into something engaging, accurate, and manageable when dozens of people want to try it?
In this 2-hour workshop, you'll develop exactly that.
Whether you're starting from scratch or refining an existing demo, we'll walk you through
- Have a rough idea but unsure how to make it hands-on
- Already have a demo and want to make it suitable for crowds
- Want support thinking through your demo
- Anyone who wants to share their research but isn't sure where to start
You'll leave with a clear plan for your demo, ready to set up on October 3 or 4.
The workshop will be given by Yvonne Kuiper (Societal Impact and Science Communication officer).
