This is a unique opportunity to take part in a structured grant writing course as well as focussed writing sessions in a supportive environment. You do not need to have written any grants before or have a specific grant in mind. However, if you are already working on a particular proposal, you can use these two dedicated days to make significant progress.
On day 1, we will focus on the grant proposal itself, and on day 2, we will discuss the narrative CV, which has become an essential part of many grant applications. After the two-day grant workshop, you should have the foundation of a full grant proposal.
Each day consists of two parts:
Morning sessions (10:00 - 12:00)
A structured grant writing course led by Sarah Dresden, (Academic) Communication Trainer from Radboud in’to Languages. The sessions will cover strategies for grant writing, practical tips and tricks, examples of successful proposals, and tools to help you write more effectively. Sarah has extensive experience in supporting researchers to write, assess, and refine their grants, don’t miss this opportunity to work with her.
LUNCH (12:00 - 13:00)
Shared vegetarian lunch.
Afternoon sessions (13:00 - 17:00)
Dedicated grant writing time, during which we use Pomodoro-style writing sessions with focused writing blocks and regular breaks to help everyone stay on track. This time is designed to apply what you have learned, work on your own projects, and build momentum. Refreshments will be provided to keep you going!
