From around the age of twenty-five or thirty, small changes in your brain begin to occur, which we call ‘cognitive ageing’. This manifests itself, for example, in changes in memory and attention, but there are also positive developments. One of the questions we often explore is how visual information helps us process information. After all, did you know that we not only listen with our ears, but also with our eyes? The cognition and behaviour lab studies differences in cognitive processing between individuals, and between younger and older adults. Watch the video below for a unique look at this research with computer tests, virtual reality and more:

Did you know that your hearing can deteriorate significantly from the age of 30 or 40? Health is something to work on every day, not something to put off until you get to the age of 65. The Cognition and behaviour lab studies how people navigate, remember, see the world around them, and communicate. Find out how our cognitive abilities develop and change as we age.

Do you want to participate in an experiment?
You can! Participants have the unique opportunity to contribute to research and witness their brain's firsthand stimulation. If you want to participate in an experiment, you can contribute as one of the first to new technologies. As you can see in the video, it is fun to see what is going on in research here and what we do, as well as to look at your brain.
