Radboud University is able to accept an online verification of some enrolment documents as long as they meet the requirements below. If we are able to verify your document online, you do not need to send us a certified hard copy by post.
Diplomas
Enrolment Bachelor's programme
International Baccalaureat (IB) Diploma
Student has not yet obtained their diploma:
- Before the release of your results, you should contact your Diploma Programme coordinator to submit a request to the IB group on your behalf.
- After the release of your results, you can request that your provisional transcript be sent to us directly by placing a request through https://rrs.ibo.org/ and choosing the option ‘Request for results to Institutes of higher education'.
You will receive a confirmation email once we’ve verified your results online.
Student has already obtained their diploma:
- To verify your diploma online, please request your results to be shared with us by placing a request through https://rrs.ibo.org/ and choosing the option ‘Request for results to Institutes of higher education’.
If you already obtained the IB Diploma but did not upload a scan of the certificate and programme results to OSIRIS Application, please send us the scans of these documents to admissions [at] ru.nl (admissions[at]ru[dot]nl). We require your results to be shared via the IBIS website and scans of your official documents. Once we are able to verify your diploma online, you will receive a confirmation email.
Cambridge GCSE/GCE
At this time, we are only able to verify online the GCSE and GCE A-level results awarded by Cambridge International. Please send a scan of your official Cambridge provisional or final certificate(s) to admissions [at] ru.nl (admissions[at]ru[dot]nl).
Note that if you send us your Cambridge International provisional results, you will also need to send a scan of your official certificate(s) once you receive them to admissions [at] ru.nl (admissions[at]ru[dot]nl). This however does not have to be done before the enrolment deadline.
Please note, if we are only able to verify your provisional results, we will treat this as a temporary proof of diploma until you can send a scan of the official certificate to admissions [at] ru.nl (admissions[at]ru[dot]nl).
WAEC
Go to the West African Examinations Council Digital Certificate website and follow the steps for sharing your documents with Radboud University. Click on the request for confirmation button and share your documents with admissions [at] ru.nl (admissions[at]ru[dot]nl).
At the moment, this only applies to credentials from Nigeria: Radboud University only accepts academic documents issued and sent via the WAEC Digital Certificate platform for graduates from 1999 and after. Documents sent through any other method are not accepted.
Please note: On the WAEC website, you can enter your reference number in the “additional information" field.
Chinese High School Credentials: CSSD
Go to the CHSI website and follow the steps for sharing your documents with Radboud University. Once you’ve accessed your CHSI account, click on “Report Delivery” to apply for the English version of your Online Verification Report and share your documents with admissions [at] ru.nl (admissions[at]ru[dot]nl).
Type of documents we accept:
- Verification Report of China Secondary Education Qualification Certificate.
- Verification Report of China Secondary Education Student’s Academic Transcript (if grade requirements apply).
- Verification Report of China College Admission Examination Scores (Gaokao).
Radboud University only accepts academic documents sent via the CSSD online inquiry service. Documents sent through any other method are not accepted.
Enrolment Master's programme
Diplomas that can be verified online
- Diplomas shared via the secure electronic system of the issuing university.
- Diplomas shared via a third-party verification service, but only if the provider of such service is clearly mentioned on the website of the issuing university.
- Example of third-party verification services we accept: Parchment, Digitary, My eQuals, Gradintelligence and The National Student Clearinghouse.
- Diplomas that include a verification code or link to be used on the website of the university to verify authenticity and content.
- Diplomas that can be verified within the online verification system of the government where the issuing institution is located.
Note: It is not sufficient if the verification only confirms that the document was issued by the university in question, but does not display its content.
If your diploma is in a language other than English, Dutch or German, and we are able to verify the contents of it online, we will still require a translation (either a certified hard copy or a version that can be verified online).
Chinese Higher Education Credentials: CSSD
