Language requirements

To meet the admission requirements for English-language Bachelor's or (pre-)Master's programmes, sufficient command of English is required. And for our Dutch-language programmes, you must have a sufficient command of the Dutch language. You can demonstrate your language proficiency with certain diplomas, or by successfully completing a recognised language test.

Language requirements for English-taught programmes

To meet the admission requirements for English-taught Bachelor's, pre-Master's or Master's programmes, sufficient proficiency in English is required. You can demonstrate your language proficiency with certain diplomas or a language certificate.

Language requirements for Dutch-taught programmes

To meet the admission requirements for Dutch taught Bachelor's or (pre-)Master's programmes, a sufficient level of Dutch proficiency is required. Language proficiency can be proven via certain diplomas or tests.

Submit English language test results

For all English-taught programmes, you will need to submit proof of your proficiency in English as part of the application. Read more on how you submit your test results and the submission deadlines.

If you are admitted and English is listed as a requirement in the admission email, we will require a certificate from one of the accepted English language examinations. Check the accepted English language test results per programme.

Participation in our courses in English requires a good command of English. We therefore ask you to guarantee that if English is not your native language, the standard of your spoken and written English is sufficient.
