English language test results for exchange students
Participation in our courses in English requires a good command of English. We therefore ask you to guarantee that if English is not your native language, the standard of your spoken and written English is sufficient.
Students who are currently studying in Canada (except Quebec), the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, or Australia are exempted from providing proof of English.
Students who are currently enrolled in a fully English-taught programme in another country may be exempted from providing proof of English. If this is the case, please upload a statement from your university proving that your current study programme is fully English-taught. Please note that if you want to take courses at the Faculty of Arts or the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies, this type of statement will not be accepted.
If the above exceptions do not apply, you can demonstrate your language skills by taking a recognised English language test with sufficient results. The minimum score to be admitted varies by programme. Please see the accepted language tests and scores per faculty below.
