A sufficient proficiency in English is an admission requirement for all English-taught programmes. You will need to submit proof of your proficiency in English as part of the application.
Steps
Please upload your official language proficiency test certificate during application in OSIRIS. In case you have already been (conditionally) admitted to one of our programmes, please send a scanned copy of the certificate via email to admissions [at] ru.nl (admissions[at]ru[dot]nl).
Submission deadlines
The deadlines below are for both Dutch and English language certificates.
For non-EU/EEA students
1 June, in order to start the visa procedure.
For EU/EEA students applying for a Numerus Fixus programme
31 July for English-taught Bachelor’s in Psychology, in order to comply with the Selection and Placement regulations.
If you are not able to meet this deadline, you can apply to extend the deadline to 31 August. The extension request must be completed before 31 July. See the Selection and Placement website for more information.
For all other EU/EEA students
15 August for all other programmes in order to activate and use your student account before the start of classes.
