Master's application with placement procedure - Dutch previous education

To apply for a Master's programme with a placement procedure, you must submit a request for enrolment via Studielink before the application deadline. It will then be assessed whether you are admitted to the placement procedure.

Language requirements for English-taught Master’s programmes

Admission requirements for English-taught Master’s and pre-Master’s programmes require a sufficient level of English proficiency. Such language proficiency can be demonstrated through certain diplomas, or by passing a recognised language test.

Submit English language test results

For all English-taught programmes, you will need to submit proof of your proficiency in English as part of the application. Read more on how you submit your test results and the submission deadlines.

Application and enrolment for international students

Do you have a non-Dutch previous education? We've detailed all the steps from application to enrolment at Radboud University in this video.

Admission Requirements: Bachelor's degree

Your foreign Bachelor's degree must be equivalent to a Bachelor's degree obtained at a Dutch research university (BA or BSc). Your Bachelor's degree should also be in the same area of study as the Master's degree that you are applying for.
A Bachelor's degree from a university of applied science is not accepted for direct admission. You may be required to follow a Pre-Master's programme first to improve your knowledge of the scientific field, before starting a Master's programme. Please note that it is not possible to apply directly for a Pre-Master's and not all studies offer a Pre-Master’s programme.
