Content connects, craftsmanship strengthens

We often focus heavily on the specific content of a task. But whether you are working on climate adaptation, regional economics or healthcare innovation, the mechanisms of network collaboration are generic. In this course, we cross disciplinary boundaries and find the shared language and methodologies that strengthen you as a network leader. You bring your own issues to this learning programme and become part of a learning community of colleagues facing similar challenges.

Concrete methodologies and tools

The programme offers in-depth insight into network dynamics and systems thinking. You will fill your toolbox with concrete methodologies that can be applied directly in practice:

  • Theory of Change: To sharpen the intended change.
  • Impact Canvas: To make the social impact of your work visible.
  • Development Tree: For the growth and structure of the partnership.
  • Network management and design: How to manage within an ecosystem.

Learning objectives/learning outcomes

You will develop skills to create shared interests and ensure engagement.
In this course, you will develop into a connector who:

  • recognises future competence issues at an early stage; 
  • designs learning solutions that really work in practice; 
  • builds internal and regional networks around learning and innovation; 
  • helps organisations accelerate the transition they are actively engaged in.

Upon completion, you will receive:

  • recognised edubadge(s) that demonstrate what you have learned.

Are you someone who is (increasingly) involved in large programmes and multi-year collaborations within and outside your institution or organisation, which often transcend domains? Then this is your opportunity!

The learning programme is intended for policy advisers, project leaders, programme managers, innovators and quartermasters who play a leading role in complex transitions.

In this Gelderlands collaboration programme, we train professionals to identify learning and development issues related to the energy transition at an early stage and translate them into concrete learning interventions, such as setting up and strengthening learning networks. Together with employers, educational institutions and government bodies, participants build a learning community in which knowledge and experiences are shared.

The Learning Network is an initiative of Radboud University, HAN/Seece, Talent for Transition in collaboration with other knowledge institutions in Gelderland.
