    General

This summer school explores the intersection of migrant integration policies and practices with the topic of digitalisation, in light of the increasing digitalisation of society and its impact on the lives of migrants and policymaking. The focus is on understanding policies and practices in the digital age. Throughout the summer school, you will be introduced to this subject by members of the Radboud University Network on Migrant Inclusion (RUNOMI), as well as other scholars and practitioners who will deliver lectures on various aspects of the topic.

The multidisciplinary nature of the course will challenge participants through an assignment: they will be tasked with identifying a migrant inclusion issue related to digitalisation and developing an interdisciplinary policy or practice that builds on the multidisciplinary academic discussions presented during the course. Additionally, there will be a field trip to Nijmegen, aimed at learning more about a local migrant inclusion project.

We welcome students and professionals who seek a comprehensive overview of migrant inclusion topics and wish to enhance their ability to understand and critically assess policies and practices regarding migrant inclusion in a digitalised society.
