What can you do with a Master's in Accounting and Control?
Employers are increasingly looking for economists who are highly financially literate and can tackle a wide variety of economic problems. This Master’s specialisation provides you with the skills and academic knowledge required to become a professional in the domains of auditing, accountancy, controlling and financial management/consulting. It will teach you to use your analytical skills to find the shortest route to the best solution and to take the consequences of possible actions into account before deciding.

After a general look at the most recent mainstream and heterodox economic theory, the Master’s specialisation in Accounting and Control totally immerses you in the world of governance, control and accounting. You learn everything about the figures that make businesses operate and the meaning they convey to internal and external stakeholders. Further, this Master's specialisation also examines the social side of the profession in order to train you to be critical of a company’s financial processes as well as your own profession and to consider the consequences of the decisions you make.

- Chartered accountant / Certified public accountant (Dutch = registeraccountant)
