Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence Master's programme at Radboud University has a distinctly cognitive focus where computational modelling is the central methodology used to understand naturally intelligent systems, build artificially intelligent systems and improve the interactions between natural and artificial systems. Students can choose one of three specialisations: Human Centered Intelligent Systems, Machine Learning and Neural Computing, and Computational Cognitive Science.

Specialisations

  • Human Centered Intelligent Systems

Are you interested in human-centered technology for a responsible future of society? This interdisciplinary AI Master's specialisation studies and develops intelligent systems, from medical AI, to artificial agents, to human-machine interfaces.

  • Machine Learning and Neural Computing

Are you driven to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence and understand the inner workings of the brain? This AI Master’s specialisation enables you to explore both. Shape the future of AI by developing smarter AI systems and building advanced brain-inspired technologies.

  • Computational Cognitive Science

Do you want to dive into the theoretical understanding of cognition? Are you driven to advance academic research by questioning and critiquing scientific theories of cognition? Then this AI Master's specialisation might be something for you!

Pre-Master's

Do you want to follow one of the specialisations in Artificial Intelligence, but you're not fully equipped to do so? The pre-Master's programmes in either Human Centered Intelligent Systems, Machine Learning and Neural Computing, or Computational Cognitive Science offer you the possibility to bridge the gap between your previous education and your desired Master's specialisation in AI.
