What did you like about the Master's programme and why?
What I really liked about the programme is that it really challenged me. I was actively involved in all the literature through a variety of assignments, which caused me to learn many skills. It has challenged me to think critically about the things that are discussed in the lectures and to discuss this with others. Also, the different statistics and research related course helped me prepare for the minor and major project really well. And not just that, also for a research career after the master.
What did you think about the atmosphere in class?
The teachers really let us students find the answers and made sure we discussed the material actively together. The classes are really small, so there were also many opportunities to get one-on-one contact with teachers, which encourages the discussion environment.
What was your thesis about?
My thesis was about political opinion change after a second-screening task. The task included watching a debate and simultaneously watching a Twitter feed. Through eye-tracking we were checking the source of opinion change.
