Career prospects

Throughout this Master's programme, you will learn how to verbally and formally theorise, and how to build and critique formal models of cognition. You will learn to ask and answer questions about how principles of computationalism constrain and shape theories, models, and frameworks. You will also become familiar with advanced research skills such as how to read, write, and submit academic articles, how to peer-review, how to perform team science, and how to engage in scholarly dialogue.

After your studies

Our Artificial Intelligence graduates have excellent job prospects and are often offered a job before they have actually graduated. Many of our graduates go on to do a PhD either at a major research institute or university with an AI department. Other graduates work for companies interested in cognitive design and research. Although graduates from the Master's specialisation in Computational Cognitive Science do have career opportunities at many companies, the programme focuses on introducing students to working in a research institute.
