Study programme of Cyber Security

The Master's specialisation Cyber Security covers a broad range of topics that are important for computer security. This includes topics in computer science (software, computer networks, and hardware, especially smart-cards and RFID), but also mathematical aspects (cryptography and security protocols), as well as organisational and management issues, legal aspects, and societal issues (in particular privacy).

    The Master’s specialisation in Cyber Security has a course load of 120 EC (two years). The first year of this specialisation contains six compulsory courses. You can compose the rest of the programme with specialisation electives and free electives.

During your Master's programme, you will have the opportunity to go abroad for your studies, internship and/or thesis.
