Curriculum of European Law and Global Affairs

The Master's specialisation European Law and Global Affairs has been specifically designed for students that want to extend their knowledge of European Law, but are also interested in studying the international relations of the European Union from other academic perspectives. Combining the study of law and political science,  this specialisation enables you to develop a broad perspective on the role of the EU on the global scene. It focuses on the main challenges facing the EU in the 21st century, and looks at the various legal rules and policy options that may be developed in response.

  • Study programme European Law and Global Affairs

    This study programme has a course load of 60 ECTS. The programme consists of six courses (total 42 ECTS) and a Master’s thesis (18 ECTS). Here you will find a schematic overview of the curriculum and courses.

Study abroad

During your Master’s programme, you will have the opportunity to go abroad for your studies, internship and/or thesis. You will learn to look at things from the perspective of a different culture and you will meet new people; it is an experience that will enrich your life. What’s more, it will look great on your CV.
