Dutch degree
Admission requirements
Your admission into this programme depends on your previous education. You are admissible if you have a completed:
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration (in Dutch: 'Bestuurskunde') from Radboud University.
Or a bachelor's degree in Public Administration or Political Science from another Dutch or international university (see requirements below). Your degree must be equivalent to a Dutch Research University diploma.
If you have completed another WO bachelor's programme, in which you meet 60 ECTS credits in relevant public administration subjects (comparable to our pre-master's programme), you are also eligible for the master's in Public Administration. The examination committee will determine, on the basis of the criteria below, whether you have attained 60 ECTS credits in relevant public administration subjects:
30-36 ECTS credits of substantive public administration courses at Bachelor's and/or Master's level. These courses should have covered the following three domains: administration, policy, and organisation & management;
At least 12 ECTS credits of in-depth courses in social science research methods, both qualitative and quantitative;
At least 12 ECTS credits of projects and/or conducting research.
If you want to be admitted on the basis of points 2 or 3, you have to submit an admission request to the examination committee of Public Administration. Do this before 1 July. If you want to be admitted on the basis of another WO bachelor's programme (point 3), send your admission request together with your study programme and courses you have completed. Do not forget to add the course descriptions of the relevant courses. Based on this, the examination committee will assess whether you meet the admission requirements with regard to content.
