What will you learn
In this specialisation, you examine how sustainability transformations are governed at the local, regional, national and international level, and how these levels interact. You study challenges such as climate change, green cities, biodiversity loss, water management, adaptation policies in urban areas, renewable energy, waste, mobility and resource use. Across these themes, you analyse how governments, NGOs, companies, cities and communities negotiate, coordinate and contest pathways towards more sustainable futures, and learn to assess governance responses from international agreements to local initiatives and citizen-led action.
