You gain a good understanding of complex societal processes in the past as well as the present.
It challenges you to look at your own research/field in a different light!
I am glad I chose this programme because I believe the study of history is of great importance to society as it has the potential to show us the way our present society is constructed and came about.
The programme itself is challenging both for the amount of new information and the pace at which we go through everything. However, there is more than enough support - from your tutor, the professors, and fellow students - to make sense of the material and feel supported.
