Curriculum of International and EU Legal Orders

This Master's programme offers an in-depth exploration of how international and EU legal frameworks address pressing global challenges, such as international conflicts, sustainable development, digitalisation, the rule of law, and migration. The core curriculum focuses on the mechanisms through which international and EU law uphold fundamental societal values while navigating complex legal landscapes. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic interplay between national, European, and international law, equipping them for careers in legal practice, policy-making, or academia.

  • Study programme International and EU Legal Orders

    This study programme has a course load of 60 ECTS. The programme consists of one compulsory course (7 ECTS), a Master’s thesis (11 ECTS), three compulsory elective courses (21 EC), at least one elective course (7 ECTS) and two free elective courses (14 EC).
