After your studies
Upon completing the Master’s programme in International Economics & Development, you will be knowledgeable about recent developments in the field. You will be an up-and-coming professional who can:
Understand and reflect on the international, professional and academic literature in the field of international economics and development.
Report independently on a range of issues in international economics and development, including state of the art empirical and theoretical studies.
Use and apply statistical tools and methods.
Conduct independent research.
Present and defend your views and research outcomes.
Maintain a critical attitude towards your own work and that of others in your field.
After your studies
With a strong analytical attitude, empirical skills and broad knowledge of the field, you can prepare for a career as a:
- Researcher for an international organisation like the UN
- Consultant in a development-oriented consultancy firm
- Policy makers for national government
- Researchers at a university
