Developers of automatic language systems currently have a growing need for people who not only understand the technical side of things, but who can also contribute linguistic knowledge and knowledge of human communication for optimisation purposes. Language experts are able to evaluate the output of automatic systems from a linguistic and communicative perspective. Such qualitative analyses create a clear picture of what needs to be improved. After your Master’s programme, you can work for companies and institutions that use automatic language systems or institutions and publishers that are involved in the development of digital learning environments.
