Study programme Linguistics and Communication Sciences year 2
Year 2 consists of a few compulsory courses with a course load of 18 EC. In addition, you’ll follow elective courses with a course load of 12 EC. The Master's will be completed with a Master’s Thesis consisting of 30 EC. A schematic overview of the programme can be found below.

Specialisation courses in Dutch
Note that some of these courses are part of the masters Language Variation and Multilingualism or Communication and Information Studies. While for the students of these masters, the study load for these courses is 5EC, the study load for students of the Research master Linguistics and Communication Sciences is 6 ECs.
