This specialisation focuses on systems level investigation of complex cellular processes. We will specifically study the epigenome as an example for a key regulatory process essential for development and that is deregulated in a wide range of diseases. In the Medical Epigenomics specialisation, you won’t zoom in on only one particular gene or protein. Instead, you’ll regard the cell as one complete system. Key subjects include (epi) genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, systems and computational biology, cancer as well as other diseases.
