With multidisciplinary and forward-looking education at the cutting-edge of modern neurobiology, graduates of the Neurobiology programme have a wide range of options. Innovative research projects often result in unique knowledge and products that might have commercial utility. Several of our graduates chose the entrepreneurial path, bringing their knowledge into the market.

- Fundamental and translational (disease-oriented) research in various fields of Neuroscience
- Research and development (R&D) in pharmaceutical companies and biomedical industry
- Science management, policy, advisement and communication positions
PhD positions at Radboud University
If you would like to have a career in science, it is possible to apply for a PhD position at Radboud University. Of course, you can also apply at any other university worldwide. Many of our students have already attained a PhD position.

To prepare you for finding a job, Radboud University offers various forms of job market orientation, so that you can prepare for your future during your studies. Career Service Science assists students and young alumni with their journey into the job market. You can contact them for help with job orientation, application tips, and information about internships and vacancies. Furthermore, students organise the BBB Career Event each year, the ideal place for students and employers to meet.

In order to keep pace with the rapid progress in our current society, you must continue to work on your development even after getting a degree. This allows you to keep up with societal change and make a worthwhile contribution to both your personal development and to wider society.
