What do you like about the programme and why?
The synergy track Gravity+ had many advanced and unique subjects that were not readily available in other universities. The programme is also very flexible, but can be laser focused if you decide to focus on a particular thing. In other words, it gives you options but carries you very far once a decision is made.
How has the programme challenged you?
The education standard in the Netherlands, for physics at least, is high in my opinion. Rote learning and memorization is often discouraged, while critical thinking style problems are encouraged. This is of course challenging but rewarding.
How is the supervision within the study programme?
The study programme is quite flexible, so you are given a lot of freedom in how you approach this programme. Therefore, you are mainly in control of your own path. In addition, your student advisor is always there to offer their opinion on what direction might be best, with the ultimate decision being up to you.
What are your plans once you have received your degree?
I will begin my PhD in the same field as my Master's degree.
Why did you choose for the Radboud University?
Despite searching for other universities, Radboud is the only university that offered such a heavy emphasis and focus on the subject of gravity. I was very interested in General Relativity before beginning my Master's so Radboud was the perfect fit.
