What will you learn

You will learn how to analyse the quality of work and the behaviour of employees, managers, teams and functional groups through the use of theoretical frameworks and models. You will work on assignments and case studies brought in by professionals to gain hands-on experience. You also learn how to apply interventions focused at employees, the quality of work, or the organisation, enabling employees to function optimally. You will develop specific knowledge of various areas, such as work motivation, recruitment, selection, and onboarding employees, resistance to change, work-related stress, and job performance. You will learn to apply this knowledge in the context of behavioural and organisational change, which will consequently enable you to help employees and organisations to remain dynamic, healthy, competitive, and innovative.

Research

You can research many topics and issues with Work, Organisation and Health psychology. To give you some inspiration, you can find some of the topics that our teachers and students are researching:

  • The relationship between remote work autonomy and work-life balance satisfaction.
  • Developing and implementing an intervention to enhance the sustainable employability of elderly care staff.
  • The prevention of work-related stress and burnout within High-Tech companies.
  • Organisational changes and how to encourage employees to get on board with these changes.
  • Designing selection and development tools to find the right employee for the right job.
  • An intervention with digital coaches, workshops and E-learning to make employees more digitally skilled.
