Study programme Tourism and Culture
The Master’s programme has a course load of 60 ECTS* (one year). All courses are offered as academic seminars with about 15-30 students, from various disciplines and national backgrounds. A schematic overview can be found here.

For your internship you can choose a collective internship (Tourism on Demand) or an individual internship.

Master’s thesis (20 EC)
Your Master's thesis will be based on an individual research project, which allows you to investigate a topic of your choice in tourism studies under the close supervision of our expert staff. You can work on almost every topic you can think of in the field of cultural tourism, as long as it builds on research traditions in the humanities or bridges the gap between humanities and social science perspectives.
Your Master’s thesis may be written in English or Dutch. Some supervisors also accept theses written in French or Spanish.
