Most students quickly take up a position as a project coordinator, policy officer or analyser at a water-related governmental organisation. But there are of course also various other possibilities, like teacher in biology, consultant, or communications officer.

Possible occupations

  • Researcher at a governmental organisation, university or company
  • Consultant at a governmental agency, like a ministry
  • Consultant at a consulting firm
  • Risk analyser
  • Policy officer at a governmental organisation or an NGO
  • Project coordinator in water or ecosystem management
  • Communications officer at an environmental organisation
  • Teacher in biology (college or secondary education level)
