Career prospects

The Master's specialisation in Urban and Cultural Geography provides graduates entry into rapidly growing sectors of the job market, be it government, business or academia. Graduates will be able to apply the scientific insights and practical skills acquired to topics as varied as development and marketing of cities, multiculturalism and integration, innovative and creative urban milieus, urban identities and cultural industries.

After your studies

Our alumni are prepared for a (inter)national career in government, semi-government, and business. They can apply for jobs such as:

  • Developer at a municipality
  • Consultant in the field of multiculturalism and integration
  • Practitioner at the cultural industry
