Regular application

Make sure that you have chosen a course and meet the course's admission requirements before you start the enrollment process. Once you have chosen a course that you are eligible for, follow these steps:
 

  1. Create an account

    Go to the portal and follow the steps to create an account.

  2. Fill out the application form

    A. Fill out the online application form and upload the required documents, such as a motivation letter and any relevant transcripts or certificates. You can find the required documents on the course page, underneath the heading 'Costs and Admission'. 

    B. Once you have completed your application you can not change this anymore, if you would like to make a change in the application please send an e-mail to radboudsummerschool [at] ru.nl (radboudsummerschool[at]ru[dot]nl)
     

  3. Wait for a decision

    Your application will be reviewed by the course leader(s). You will receive a notification of their decision within 14 days.
     

  4. Pay the application fee

    When you are accepted into the course, you will receive an AcceptEmail within 3 working days. You can pay for your course via CreditCard or IDEAL. Make sure you pay within 14 days, otherwise you have to request a new AcceptEmail.

  5. Arrange a visa and letter of acceptance (if applicable)
     

    You might need a letter of acceptance for your visa application procedure. Once you have paid the course fee, we can send you your letter of acceptance. You can request this letter by sending an email to radboudsummerschool [at] ru.nl (radboudsummerschool[at]ru[dot]nl). Please include your first and last name in your email. We can send the letter of acceptance via email only.

  6. Course confirmation

    All courses have a minimum number of participants. The course will only be taught if the minimum number of participants is reached. We will inform you of the confirmation of the course on the 18th of May 2025 the latest. Do not make any non-refundable traveling arrangements yet, but wait until your course is confirmed.

Applying with a scholarship

Make sure that you have chosen a course and meet the course's admission requirements before you start the enrollment process. Please note that with an Erasmus+ scholarship, you can only follow courses on campus and cannot follow an online course. Once you have chosen a course that you are eligible for, follow these steps:
 

  1. Apply for a scholarship

    You have to apply for a scholarship through your home university. The selection process will be carried out by your home university based on their own criteria. For more information about the application procedure, please contact your home university’s international office or study abroad advisor.
     

  2. Follow instruction email once scholarship is granted

    If your scholarship has already been granted: follow the instructions in the email you received.
     

  3. Create an account

    Go to the portal and follow the steps to create an account.

  4. Fill out the application form

    A. Fill out the online application form and upload the required documents, such as a motivation letter and any relevant transcripts or certificates. You can find the required documents on the course page, underneath the heading 'Costs and Admission'. 

    B. Select 'Pay by Scholarship' and follow the instructions you have received in your email.

    C. Once you have completed your application you can not change this anymore, if you would like to make a change in the application please send an e-mail to radboudsummerschool [at] ru.nl (radboudsummerschool[at]ru[dot]nl)
