Study programme pre-Master's Global Communication and Diversity
This programme consists of 60 ECTS and can be completed in one year. It starts once a year, in September. You can apply for this programme if you have obtained or will obtain a Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences (‘HBO’ in Dutch) within the field of Communication or a related studies and if you meet our English language requirements (check out the admission and application page for the list of related studies and the language requirements).
If you are interested in our Master’s specialisation in Global Communication and Diversity, but you have a university-level Bachelor’s degree in a field that is not directly related to Communication, you might still be admitted to our pre-Master’s programme if your application is sufficiently motivated, but you do need to meet our English language requirements.
About this study curriculum
The pre-Master’s programme is a one-year programme (60 EC) especially designed to bridge the gap between your prior education and our Master’s in Global Communication and Diversity. The content of the pre-Master's consists of specific courses from our Bachelor’s programme in International Business Communication.
You may complete a part of the pre-Master's programme during your HBO-Bachelor's by doing a minor Communicatie- en Informatiewetenschappen.

This pre-Master's programme (60 EC) is a 1 year fulltime study programme. If you wish to deviate from this study planning, please make sure to discuss this with the study advisor well in advance.
Pre-master's programmes are subject to change. From 1 July, you can consult the study guide for the programme for the coming academic year.
* Pre-master GC&D students take this course in period 4. Pre-master GC&D students who take this course (again) can also do so in period 1 or 3. Students are only allowed to register for this course once per semester. If a student registers for this course in period 3, they are not allowed to register again in period 4 of the same academic year.
