Study programme of pre-Master's Molecular Sciences
The bridging programme aims to bridge the gap between your prior education and our Master's in Molecular Sciences. It starts in September and consists of maximum 48 EC. The content of the programme consists of specific courses from our Bachelor's programme in Chemistry or Molecular Life Sciences and depends on the specialisation that you would like to pursue.
For students with Bachelor's degree from a University of Applied Sciences (HBO) two standard tracks are programmed that prepare for either specialisations ‘Chemistry of Life’ & ‘Medicinal Chemistry’ or specialisations ‘Molecular Chemistry’ & ‘Physical Chemistry’. We also offer a Minor programme which can be followed in your HBO programme.

Curriculum
Pre-Master's Chemistry of Life / Medicinal Chemistry
This pre-Master's programme prepares you for the Master's specialisations Chemistry of Life and Medicinal Chemistry. Courses include: Spectroscopy of Biomolecules, Data: Programming and Statistics, Biochemistry, Mathematics and Introduction to Philosophy and Ethics of Science.
This pre-Master's programme prepares you for the Master's specialisations Molecular Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. Courses include: Linear Algebra, Mathematics, Data: Programming and Statistics, Thermodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Data: Techniques and Analysis, Chemical Bonding, Physical Organic Chemistry and Introduction to Philosophy and Ethics of Science.
This minor provides fundamental and more advanced courses that can be used in your HBO programme, and may help preparing for a premaster in Molecular Sciences at Radboud University.
