Curriculum
Curriculum for students with a degree obtained in the Netherlands
This pre-Master's programme is for Dutch students who have completed (or are in the process of completing) a Bachelor's programme in a different field of study than Geografie, Planologie en Milieu. Together with a completed Bachelor's this pre-Master's gives access to the Master's of Spatial Planning.
We offer specific pre-Master’s programmes for international students whose prior education is insufficient for direct admission to the Master’s programme in Spatial Planning, to bridge the gap. Successful completion of one of these programmes will allow you to enrol in one of our Master’s specialisations Spatial Planning.
It is not possible for HBO students to be admitted directly to a Master’s programme. First, they must participate in a pre-Master’s programme that will provide them with the basic scientific knowledge and academic skills at the level of a university Bachelor’s programme. Successful, motivated HBO students can take a maximum of five courses in advance from the pre-Master's programme. This will reduce the costs of the pre-Master’s programme to be taken later.
