Tuition

For the pre-Master's, you will pay a contribution. The amount of this contribution depends on how many ECTS credits you will take. For the current academic year this contribution is €36.82 per ECTS, with a maximum of €2,209.00.

For the pre-Master’s, you will pay a contribution. The amount of the contribution depends on how many ECTS credits you will take, with a maximum of the legal tuition fee. Visit student budget and expenses for more information about financial matters, including the costs of living in Nijmegen, living expenses and the costs of study books and materials. 

For the non-EU/EEA citizens, unfortunately, there are no scholarships available for the pre-Master's, nor for the Master's after you have completed the pre-Master's. The costs of the Master's programme for non-EU/EEA citizens for the academic year of 2022-2023 are 16,000.- EUR and this fee will most likely increase for the academic year of 2023-2024 by about 5%. This is decided in autumn of every year.

Visa, Residence Permit and Housing for International Students

As soon as you receive the admission for the pre-Master's, the visa department will contact you and inform you about the visa procedure (only if you need a visa and/or residence permit).

Please keep in mind that if you are a non-EU/EEA citizen you need to pass all the courses in the pre-Master's within one year, since the residence permit for the pre-Master's is valid for only one year.
