By granting dispensation, the Examination Board declares that the person in question is capable of taking and assessing valid assessments despite the lack of demonstrable qualifications in the field of assessment (such as the University Teaching Qualification – BKO).
The dispensation is granted for a period of one year. If the intended examiner will be involved in teaching for a longer period, it is advisable to refer them to the BKO programme (or at least the BKO sub-certificate focused on assessment).
