Institute for Science Education

The Institute for Science Education (ISE) develops theories, methods, and tools to support science students and teachers. It is an interdisciplinary institute with a research group, Science Education Research, and an outreach organisation, the Radboud Pre-University College (PUC) of Science.

Strengthening Research Practicals in Secondary Education

This project promotes practical learning in secondary education through the EOES, enhances school experiments, and integrates the Olympiad into the curriculum. It fosters interdisciplinary work and talent discovery in students.

The Dudoc-Bèta cohort 2022-2026 offers first-degree secondary school teachers of biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, and NLT (Nature, Life, and Technology) the opportunity to conduct a PhD research next to their teaching job.

Institute for Science Education

The Institute for Science Education (ISE) is part of the Faculty of Science at Radboud University. The Faculty of Science is responsible for research and education in the fields of biology, physics, astronomy, chemistry, mathematics, and computing science. In both research and education, ISE collaborates with the other institutes of the faculty and with the Radboud Teachers Academy.
