Log in via:
Log in with your E- or U-number and your RU password.
Choose: Start a new request.
Choose: Workgroup folders.
Click on the button in front of Edit: Workgroup Folder without students.
A drop-down list of all workgroup folders (without student access), of which you are the owner, appears.
From this list, select the desired workgroup folder and press the button at the bottom of the screen.

Before users can be added or deleted to the selected workgroup folder, the end date will need to be confirmed. It is also possible to change the end date of the selected folder in this step. The end date can be moved forward a maximum of 2 years.
If the date is correct, press submit at the bottom of the screen.

Search by last name, first name or last name% or U/E number, select the right person, and assign read-only access or read-and-write access. Repeat this action for all users that need to be added.
Note: only click the Submit button after all necessary changes have been made to the workgroup folder (this may include removal of members for instance).
Tick off the user(s) to be removed, and then click X.
Once you have completed all changes to the workgroup folder, click the Submit button.
The overview of the shopping cart shows, to finalize your request click the Submit button at the bottom right.
In a few minutes, added members will receive the following e-mail:
Dear <name of the new member>,
The owner of workgroup folder <workgroupfolder name>, has given you <Read-only or ReadWrite> access to this workgroup folder. After logging out and logging in, the folder is available. You can find the workgroup folder at a RU workstation under quick access in the explorer: click on wrkgrp and you will see all workgroup folders to which you have access. You can use RU-Connect at non-RU workplaces.
(ReadWrite access means that you can place and edit files in addition to reading. Read-only access means that you can only read files)
NOTE: The workgroup folder is only visible after logging out and logging in again at the workplace.
